of Connecticut and Western Massachusetts
Imagine a world in which all children were loved and not a single child was disadvantaged, ill, abused, disabled, or homeless. It's the kind of world we all dream about. Through Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC), many of us are working to make that vision a reality.
Since our inception in 1988, RMHC of Connecticut and Western Massachusetts has awarded over $5 million to more than 330 local non-profit organizations that directly improve the health and well being of children. Today, our primary focus area is education — technology, literacy, music, art, and athletics.
The entire community provides funding and support for RMHC. At the forefront are McDonald’s® owner/operators, restaurant and regional staff and suppliers. Every day, McDonald's customers support our local RMHC chapter by depositing spare change in restaurant collection canisters. In addition, local McDonald's owner/operators donate a portion of every Happy Meal™ sale.
